BALANCING SYSTEMS / MODULAR ENGINEERING

Configure a balancing machine to your rotor specifications

Choose a complete machine, assemble a modular kit, or develop an automated balancing line. Frame length, support count, suspension technology, sensors, measurement electronics and software become one controlled configuration.

MEASUREMENT ARCHITECTURE

The support technology determines the sensor chain.

Do not select supports and sensors independently. The final architecture depends on rotor behaviour, operating speed, correction method, production rate and required evidence.

HARD-BEARING / SUB-RESONANT

Rigid supports + force sensors

The rotor is measured below the relevant support resonance. Rigid pedestals transfer reaction forces into the measuring chain and suit repeatable industrial workflows after engineering validation.

Sensor principle
Force / reaction measurement
Typical fit
Series production, rapid changeover, defined rotor families
SOFT-BEARING / SUPER-RESONANT

Pendulum supports + vibration sensors

The rotor is measured above the suspension resonance. Low-stiffness supports allow measurable motion, captured by vibration sensors for versatile balancing across different rotor families.

Sensor principle
Vibration / acceleration measurement
Typical fit
Flexible workshops, prototypes, wide rotor variety

The classification above is a configuration guide, not a final design decision. Resonance separation, structural dynamics, sensor range and safety are confirmed during engineering review.

MODULAR SYSTEM BUILDER / ENGINEERING PREVIEW

Configure the machine as a compatible set of modules.

The builder produces a preliminary architecture and project specification. Price, accuracy, delivery and compliance are confirmed only after the rotor data and operating conditions are reviewed.

COMPLETE MACHINES / CONFIGURABLE FAMILIES

Select a machine family, then fit it to the real rotor.

The catalog is organized by application rather than a fixed price list. Every machine can be extended with support count, bed length, tooling, guarding, measurement and automation options.

LIGHT ROTORS / HIGH SPEED

Turbo and light-rotor balancer

Compact soft-bearing system for turbocharger assemblies, small armatures and high-speed light rotors.

  • Soft-bearing architecture
  • Measurement software included in project scope
UNIVERSAL / WORKSHOP

Universal horizontal machine

A flexible route for motor rotors, impellers, fans, rollers, crankshafts and general rotating assemblies.

  • Two to four supports
  • Belt, end or self-drive options
2X / 3X / 4X SUPPORTS

Cardan and drive-shaft machine

Extended bed, adaptable support count and end-drive configuration for industrial and automotive drive shafts.

  • Long-bed configurations
  • Optional correction and welding portal
SINGLE / TWO PLANE

AUTOMATED CELL / LINE

Automatic balancing and correction line

Measurement, orientation, drilling or milling correction, handling, safety and production-data integration in one cell.

  • Robotic or dedicated handling
  • Production traceability and reporting

Model names and numeric performance are confirmed in the commercial specification. The families above are selection routes, not guaranteed offers.

MODULAR HARDWARE / BUILD LIKE A SYSTEM

Every part has a defined role in the measurement chain.

Select modules as a compatible assembly, not isolated parts. Interfaces, ranges, wiring, software licenses, drawings and calibration records travel with the project.

Soft supports

Pendulum suspension modules matched to rotor mass and speed.

03

Hard supports

Rigid pedestals with a force-measurement path.

04

Drive module

Belt, end drive, universal joint or self-driven arrangement.

05

FROM CONFIGURATION TO OPERATING ASSET

The machine remains connected to its engineering history.

A complete project can include engineering, manufacturing, FAT, calibration, delivery, commissioning, training and a digital product passport with current documents and service context.

ENGINEERING QUESTIONS

Begin with the rotor, not a model number.

01What is included in a DIY kit?

The preliminary scope can include supports, drive modules, sensors, phase reference, measurement electronics, software, electrical interfaces, drawings, assembly instructions and commissioning support. The exact list follows the selected architecture.

02Can I choose two, three or four supports?

Yes. The selected count changes the bed layout, tooling and measurement plan. Four-support layouts are especially relevant for long shaft assemblies, but the final arrangement is checked against the rotor and correction process.

03How do I choose hard-bearing or soft-bearing?

Use the configurator as a starting point. Engineering confirms resonance separation, rotor range, operating speed, changeover needs, sensor range and foundation conditions before approving the architecture.

04Can the system become an automated line?

Yes. Projects may add handling, identification, guarding, automatic orientation, correction by drilling or milling, verification, rejection routing, reporting and integration with the production environment.
